Hi, Sorry I haven't been posting since the 6th of February I have been really busy with school homework and other stuff but now that I 'am back I will tell you what has been happening in my life.
This year I started doing soccer at my school for the first time, we have been practicing lots but we haven't had a game yet our first game is on the first week of Term 2.
Five classes at my school went on camp and one of the classes was mine, we went to Lakewood Lodge which is in Huntly just off Hamilton (That's where I live). We were split into groups, the groups were 5,6,7,8,9 And 10,11,12,13,14. The groups 5,6,7,8 & 9 were going to survival (Which means they have to make their on fires and cook food on them and sleep in tents and lots more) and groups 10 - 14 had to stay back and do activities.
I was in group 5, We walked down a path over a fence and under a bridge to get to the camp site we put up our tents I was in a tent with three of my friends Conor, Harry and Anton we then did activities like chin ups, mapping skills and making a chant for our group. There was also a game where you have to run and scream the whole time it was really fun. It was dinner time so, we made fires and then we put spuds and mince on the fire, our group made mince sandwich with wedges.
It was night time now so we grabbed our touches and went down the hill to the river we were going to catch ells Mike the camp master said whoever caught the first ell had to kiss it. In our group the first person to have a go was me, it toke along time but I suddenly felt a tug then pulled the rope up I was the first person to catch a ell I was about to kiss it when it slid back into the water "Yes I don't have to kiss it" I said. Then we caught more ells and put them all back in the water.
Now it was time to tell scary stories they were so scary I had to block my ears for the last few ones. "Bed Time" Mike said, so we rushed off to our tents we were a bit scared at the start Conor got so scared he asked me to come with him to the adults tent he went in their.
I went back to our tent I sat there scared then I was so scared I went to the adults tent too this was at 2.00 o'clock in the morning we sat there talking the in-till 4.00 o'clock then Justin and Carter my other friends tried to scare us they put their touches on the tent so it looked like Mike was coming to tell us off then they banged the tent the little boy next to me started screaming I didn't scream I was not scared we talked in-till Mike came and woke us up.
We walked back to the camp and we did fun activities like Kayaking, Low ropes, Climbing wall, Archery, Frisbee golf, 130m twin flying fox and Horse riding.
The next day we packed up and left for school.
Thanks for reading my blog post see you next time.
